A home in Frankfort, NY recently received an upgrade with a seamless aluminum gutter installation. Mother Nature provided the perfect on-site testing environment for the new gutter installation with lots of rain.
This particular installation presented a challenge with heavily angled fascia on the roof eves. The steep fascia angles meant we had to level the mounting area for the gutters by creating custom gutter wedges. Gutter wedges are triangle shaped pieces of aluminum that are mounted to the fascia, the wedges create a perpendicular mounting surface for our seamless gutters. If the gutters were installed without this crucial step, the gutters would be mounted at an odd angle that would allow roof drainage to pass over or splash out of the angled gutters. New gutter wedges allowed our team to install our custom made aluminum gutters at the optimal angle for the best drainage. The customer selected our standard white color from a large selection of available colors.
