No job is too big or too small for our team at Gutter Tech Enterprises, this time we were in New Hartford, NY working on a small, one piece seamless gutter installation.
Our customer needed a new gutter over their home’s garage door entrance to help move debris and water away from the entrance area. Rain gutters are an important component for homes. They move water away from the home preventing a number of problems before they begin. Without a gutter system water can get underneath siding, causing erosion in the structure of your home. Without a gutter system water can also backup and get in under the shingles of a roof causing roof damage. This is especially important for when the central New York snow and ice melts off the roof so that run-off will have a place to go.
Repeated exposure to run-off water can damage a home’s foundation and also contribute to flooded basements as well as large areas of standing water around the structure.
Our customer needed the one piece of gutter installed over the garage area and chose a color from our catalog that matched the rest of the home’s color scheme. Our customer was happy with the end product and can rest assured that our seamless aluminum gutter installation will protect the home for years to come.
Our work features a 10 year warranty so that in the rare case an issue arises the team at Gutter Tech Enterprise will be glad to help. Does your property need new gutters? We were in New Hartford, NY again for this project, but we work throughout the entire Central New York area including the areas of Utica, Rome, Clinton, Whitesboro, Vernon, Oneida, Canastota, Chittenango, Cazenovia and Hamilton!
This particular gutter installation involved problems pertaining to the home’s weak and angled fascia. Angled fascia in particular could cause a typical gutter installation to be tipped forward, preventing proper drainage from the gutter. To solve this issue we had to compensate for the angled fascia before gutter installation. Our customer chose an almond colored aluminum from our selection of over 30 available colors for their new gutters which matched the homes’ existing color palette perfectly.
Gutter Guards Simplify Maintenance
Along with the new gutters our customer chose to install new Champion Gutter Guards. Gutter Guards are an effective way to keep your gutters free of debris and maintenance free. The gutter guards durable mesh prevents unwanted material from entering the gutter so clogs are eliminated before they even begin!
The installation came out beautifully and our customer can relax knowing that their gutters are ready to take on mother nature for years to come. Looking for new seamless gutters? Give us a call at (315) 368-5593 or get a free quote online.

After careful discussion with the home owner it was decided to replace not only the gutters but the worn out fascia and soffits as well.
Proper gutters protect soffits and fascia
Although gutters are used to move water and debris away from your home, soffits and fascias also serve an aesthetic and functional purpose for a structure’s roof. While soffits cover the underside of the eaves, fascias are the horizontal band or face you see at the end of the rafters. Together both soffits and fascias protect the rafters from weather, keep out pests, prevent mold and disguise ventilation for your attic.
If your gutters do not function properly, backed up water and debris can damage the fascia board and can create additional issues due to poor drainage.
We replaced the soffits, fascia and gutters and everything turned out great. Our customer can rest assured that the improvements they have made will last and protect their home for years to come. Give us a call at (315) 368-5593 or get a free quote if you’re in need of seamless gutters. We serve the entire Central New York Region including the areas of Utica, Rome, New Hartford, Clinton, Whitesboro, Vernon, Oneida, Canastota, Chittenango, Cazenovia and Hamilton.
Gutter Tech Enterprise visited to New Hartford, NY to replace gutters, soffit and fascia damaged during the past winter. No one can deny that this past winter was brutal in Central New York, the damage done to this particular home’s fascia was extensive. Our customer decided it was prudent to invest in replacing the gutters, soffits and fascia.
If your gutters are more then 15 years old, chances are that they might just be nailed in with a spike and ferrule technique. Unfortunately after a period of time, heavy snow or ice resting in the gutter will begin to pry your gutter off your house. Once this process begins and a space develops between the gutter and the fascia the damage will accelerate.
Strong and Beautiful
Our customer chose to replace the existing gutters, soffit and fascia. We installed our seamless aluminum gutters which secured to the home with hidden Hangtite hangers, engineered to be the strongest hidden hanger in its class. We also installed all new aluminum wrapped fascia boards which like our gutters are available in over 30 colors.
The installation came out great and our customer can now relax, knowing that their gutters are ready for winter for years to come. Gutter Tech Enterprise was back in New Hartford, NY to install our 6 inch commercial gutters on a newly renovated house.
In certain situations, a larger 6 inch commercial sized gutter is needed to handle the volume of water. After assessing the site, we determined the best approach to run the gutters and downspouts to maximize the ability to run the water away from the homes foundation. We also installed our larger 3×4 downspouts so as to drain the seamless gutters rapidly enough even in the heaviest Central New York downpours.
Gutters funnel water off of the roof and away from your home, which protects your siding, windows, doors and foundation from water damage. By the time a homeowner realizes what type of damage can be caused it’s usually too late. It is important to have properly functioning gutters, rainwater runs off the roof of the house and collects on the ground near the foundation. Heavy rains can result in standing pools of water, which can cause a multitude of problems.
Why is a commercial gutter installation so important?
- Home and basement flooding – A basement flood can cause irreparable damage to your home and, more importantly, the value of your home could suffer.
- Cracked foundation – Minor cracks can eventually lead to severe structural instability. Ultimately, a cracked foundation can leave your house unfit for habitation.
- Mold – Most insurance policies don’t cover mold damage.
- Erosion – If water is not correctly diverted away from your home the topsoil will erode and leave your foundation vulnerable.
- Exterior damage – Water damage to the exterior of your home can be an issue down the road through routine maintenance and it hurts your curb appeal.
It might sound dramatic, but if you live in an area, like Central New York, extreme weather conditions can cause serious damage to your home. One inch of rain on an average sized house creates about 500 gallons of rainwater runoff so it might be time for you to consider a commercial gutter install or consider a simple maintenance routine to be sure your gutters are working properly.
Our customer was happy to know that their newly remodeled colonial styled house will now be protected from the elements, and the foundation will not deteriorate from the heavy rain falls and constant dripping and melting throughout the winter month. Another job well done by Gutter Tech, and one more seamless commercial gutter install that will last a lifetime.

We recently visited Schuyler, New York to help our new customer with custom deck and railing construction. Needing an easy transition into the house, we custom designed a ramp which created the perfect solution. To ensure a long lasting product we used DuraLife composite decking and 100% virgin vinyl railing. After the initial planning phase, we created a digital blueprint to help our customer visualize their new decking.
We began the installation by framing and pouring a concrete footer. To ensure a solid platform we set the footer below the frost line at a depth of four feet. Using premium treated lumber from local Ilion, NY and JK lumber located in New Hartford, we framed the ramp and deck. While constructing the frame we used 6×6 posts and sleeved them with vinyl to produce a sturdy, elegant skeleton. After the frame was complete, we used DuraLife composite decking using a hidden fastening system. Putting the final touches on the decking system we installed vinyl lattice, creating a refined look.
Vinyl Railing Installation
After the DuraLife decking was installed, we followed up with virgin vinyl railing. Our customers loved the maintenance free nature of our vinyl railing and added their own design with Newport top rail. While most are skeptical about the strength of vinyl railing, we use aluminum stiffeners to ensure a solid product.
Water Guard Installation
After completing the composite deck, we were able to install a new roof system. Using ice and water guard on the entire roof we ensured our customers issues with leaking were a thing of the past. Once this was completed we installed premium vinyl soffit to enclose the roof structure and aluminum fascia to cover exposed wood.
The entire project created a revised and enhanced look for our customers home. Preventing leaks, minimizing maintenance, and ensuring years of peace of mind, our customers were extremely happy with the result.
